Introducing our Hubs

At an Urgent Circuit Meeting on 1st September, our Superintendent Minister, Rev Wilfred Robinson, explained that in order to work effectively in the future and to look after the well-being of our churches and our people, the Circuit would move into a systems of hubs – groups of churches who can work together by sharing in worship and resources.

A pilot project was started by Hindley Green, Kingsleigh and Wigan Road. This has proven to be incredibly effective. At the Circuit Meeting, everyone in this Hub had praise for how well this is working and how it has been more successful than anyone had initially imagined!

Our four hubs have now been established. Each hub is at a different point in working together but are looking forward to enjoying a successful working relationship in the future.

Our four hubs are: Central Hub (Bedford, Hindley Green, Kingsleigh and Wigan Road), East Hub (Astley & Tyldesley and Atherton Central), South Hub (Cucheth and Glazebury) and West Hub (Bamfurlong and St John's).

The Circuit Calendar has now been arranged to show events in each of our Hubs using the colour coding below.
