Wesleigh School Donations
You may be aware that Westleigh Methodist Primary School in the Leigh and Hindley Circuit had a devastating fire.
As a temporary measure until parts of the old school are rebuilt and refurbished, some classes will occupy portocabins on the nearby Westleigh High School site and others in parts of the school that has only been slightly affected by the fire.
This is not a begging letter but I have been asked by a number of people if they could help in some way. After speaking with Julie-Ann Hewitt, the Executive Head, we agreed that any donations could go towards kitting out prayer and reflection spaces when the school is reopened. Each classroom has one of these valuable spaces where children can go to be quiet and pray. This seems an appropriate project to be funded by the Methodist Family.
