One World Week — 21 — 28 October 2018
"The World is Changing — How about us?"
One World Week is a Development Education Charity. Each year, "The Week" is an opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to come together to learn about global justice, to spread that learning and to use it to take action for justice locally and globally.
Thousands of people take part in One World Week events across the country that are accessible yet challenging to their community.
This year the theme is "The World is Changing — How about us?
We are inviting people to think about how the world has changed.
We now know our current lifestyles involve wasteful consumption of the earth's resources which is damaging the earth's systems.
We each need to commit to make changes in our lives in order to take better care of our planet and its people so that it can continue to offer a home to all our children and grandchildren.
