Walk across to the islands and enjoy watching the wildlife in their natural habitat.
Walking Group — Hilbre Island Sponsored Walk
Action for Children — Sat 22nd Sep
Join us on this bracing walk across West Kirby beach to the stunning Hilbre Island Nature Reserve. You may be lucky and spot a seal bathing in the Dee Estuary and there are many species of birds to see. Timed to fit in with the tides, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the islands. Dogs are also welcome! This year's visit coincides with the 'Friends of Hilbre' day which means that in addition to using the Friend's telescope to seal watch, there will also be a small exhibition.
