Warrington Hospital Donations,
Holcroft Grange and 'Helping Hands' Essential Hampers

for more about this initiative please contact Viv Briney — 01925 764249

The amazing donations are being collected, by Warrington Hospital, today.
Also, we have completed a hearts prayer tree for Holcroft Grange with 80 hearts for the 40 residents and 40 staff.

I am now being asked if we need more hearts and puppets. The answer is...yes please!

The puppets are given to every child who is admitted to Warrington or Halton Hospital.
Currently, they are asking for them to be knitted in rainbow colours. I am using the multi coloured wool as it is less fiddly.

A certain wool shop is doing prompt deliveries and I intend to order some more wool soon. If anyone would like to add to my order, please let me know. I can also email, or deliver, the pattern (it is knitted in one piece and is easy).

Regarding the hearts...the charity Helping Hands are delivering essential hampers to those shielding or in need in Culcheth, Croft and Glazebury.
They are including a leaflet from our church (info from our banner) and I am putting a heart with each leaflet with a tag saying 'hand-made with love, if you would like to contribute to the hampers, items may be dropped off at the Village Club, or the Co-op, or I can call and collect from you.

12 bags full: being collected, for Warrington Hospital, tomorrow...

34 Toiletry Bags
Most contain: Shower cream, flannel, shampoo & conditioner, toothbrush & paste, deodorant, soap, tissues, and body cream

20 scrub bags
16 pads, crayons, pencils, erasers, sharpeners

Back in March the way in which Warrington Youth for Christ reaches young people took a massive turn. During the first initial week of our countries national lockdown, myself (Hannah) alongside the WYFC team, got together to plan new strategies to support young people. We are so thankful for pre-existing social media platforms and the power of technology, which has enabled us to continue our work...
