Fresh Expressions A new initiative for changing times. Our world is changing. At least 60% of the UK population is now beyond the reach of the churches. This proportion grows each year.
The Church of England and the Methodist Church want to establish many different fresh expressions of church life in the next decade to carry the gospel to every part of our society.
Following the recent Circuit meeting where we discussed aspects of worship and church, it was agreed that we would look at two aspects of 'Fresh Expression' one surrounding 'worship' and another considering 'church.'
There will be two opportunities to gather and share your thoughts, the first on Wednesday 9th January, 7.30pm at Wigan Road when we shall explore 'Fresh Expression' of Church — what 'Bread Chruch' might look like for our circuit. if you want to know more go here or speak to Rev Andrew.
The second meeting, "Fresh Expression of Worship (looking at different ways, styles, days/times etc of worship), and a meeting surrounding this will take place on Tuesday 12th February 7.30pm at Kingsleigh. for more information, speak to Rev Viv
