Each summer, and for many years past, St John’s has held a Holiday Club which lasts for one week during the school summer holidays.
Much effort and preparation is put into this event. It is well supported by our congregation and usually oversubscribed by parents anxious to have a little peace and quiet.
The event is bible based with games and activities on a specific theme. In 2003, it was entitled MEGAQUEST and involved the use of computers.
In one session young people were teaching the older members of the congregation, and other helpers, how to use a computer as some of them had never been on a computer before.
