The Chapel is a Sunday School Hall which was built and opened in 1899. It has kept much of its old charm from the days of yesteryear.
The chapel is surrounded by garden areas with Gardens of Remembrance across the front and the whole of the south side.
It is with regret that the chapel held its final service on 6th July 2005. It membership had dwindled to such an extent that those remaining took a very difficult decision to close.
It seems such a pity that that service was one when the small chapel was full to overflowing with many people from other churches in the circuit showing their support for the members from Bickershaw.
